Message from a local shelter asking for help for Chloe:
She just came in as a stray and didn’t pass our temperment test. She was wonderful with her food, bones, toys, sensitivity. The problem I’m having is she is only 8-10months old and just a doll. Her name is Chloe, and she stole my heart. When she is around another dog she doesn’t know what to do. The actions she shows is that she doesn’t even understand why they are trying to go for a butt sniff. This tells me she has never really been exposed to others to know what to do. She is vocal with them and play bows, but once they approach and touch her, she wraps her paws around in a dominant stance and they both freeze. Now, once the other dog has moved she does what I call a face punch, never opens her mouth, never bites, but of course I don’t let it escalte to that. I believe she is competley workable with foster and dog exposure. I unfortunalty cannot adopt her out with her exhibiting this behavior. If you are full I understand, I just see potential in her and want to give her a shot at rescue
.
If you can help Chloe, please contact us at info@ruffstartrescue.org and we will get your rescue in touch with the shelter.
Thank you!

She is a beautiful little girl. I hope there is a special someone out there for her. She is far too smiley to lose.
